Functional Anatomy

Discover how horses are structured to train according to their physiology

To successfully retrain a horse and improve posture, you need to understand what each horse truly needs. This course presents functional anatomy in an easy-to-follow way, designed for horse owners, but with insights that benefit professionals as well.

Spinal Alignment

A necessity for balance and suppleness

Most horses struggle with proper spinal alignment, which can lead to compensatory movement patterns, tension, restrictions, and soreness. The problem is that most people don’t know how to tell if a horse’s spine is aligned. In this class, Vicke breaks down how to recognize spinal alignment and correct axial rotation.
